These are some questions that I frequently get asked and the answers to those questions!
Q. My wedding is in October (or what ever month your wedding is in), if I get my flowers in September, (again, whenever you request your flowers) will they stay fresh that long? A. You won't believe how often I get this question. Yes they will definitely stay fresh. After all they are artificial flowers.
Q. What types of payments do you take? A. You can find all payment information on this page of my website. How do I order?
Q. Will you send me pictures of my flowers when they are finished? A. Yes, all brides will get pictures of their flowers, only when the whole order is finished. However, I usually don't take pictures of bouts and corsages. I will never take pictures of toss bouquets. (I've been asked before).
Q. Do you Ship to my state? A. Yes, I ship to all states and even some other countries.
Q. What types of flowers do you carry? A. I carry very high quality silk flowers called natural touch flowers (also known as fresh, soft, real touch flowers). Many brides have been asking about the new Floramatique flowers lately. I also carry the Floramatique flowers. Soon I will be updating my site to include these realistic artificial flowers!
Q. Do you have a price list? A. No, since all of my work is custom I do not have set prices. If you fill out the quote form I can give you a free custom quote on your wedding flowers.
Q. Your flowers look so real, are they actually pictures of real flowers? A. First of all, thanks! I strive to make my arrangements as real looking and feeling as possible. So if you think they are real flowers, that's a good thing! Every wedding show that I set up at, every person that passes by thinks that my artificial flower bouquets are actually real flowers. And a good majority actually pick up the flowers and smell them! But no. You will never find photograph's of fresh flowers on my site. I create bouquets using only the best high quality artificial botanically correct florals available. Having pictures of fresh flower bouquets on my site would actually go against my moral standings. I would feel as if I was deceiving you.
Q. How long have you been in business? A. I have been in business now since 2000. And designing much longer. Shavon's Wedding Silks is an established business.
Q. Before I fill out your quote form, can I get an idea of your prices? A. No, the purpose of filling out the quote form is to get prices. Every bride wants something different so it would be very hard to give you a price based on the zero information that you just gave me. If you really would like to know, they range from $10.00 to the upwards of $150.00. It just depends on how big the bouquet is, what types of flowers you would like, etc.
